Grainne White, Managing Partner

Grainne White, Managing Partner, is a graduate of University College, Cork and joined Coughlan White & Partners in 1992. Grainne qualified as a Solicitor in 1995. Grainne was made a Partner in 1997 and Managing Partner since 2006.
Grainne specialises in Commercial Conveyancing, Debt Management and High Court Litigation. She also specialises in Commercial Court matters including matters dealing with Lending Institution and has vast experience in Compulsory Purchase Orders and Planning and Boundary disputes.
Feargal White, Senior Partner

Feargal White, Partner, is a graduate of University of London and joined the firm in 1996. He specialises in the area of Defence and Plaintiff Personal injuries Litigation with extensive experience in road traffic accidents, public liability claims and employer liability claims with a keen interest in spinal and catastrophic injuries. He also specialises in insurance disputes and Arbitrations and equine related injuries.

Jason Teahan, Senior Associate

Jason has been with Coughlan White & Partners since 2000 although he spent some time working in Dublin before returning in 2020. Originally from Naas, he obtained a Law Degree from UCD and qualified in 2002. He has extensive experience as a court advocate and heads the firm’s prosecution team. Jason has acted for a wide variety of state agencies and local authorities since 2004 such as the Environmental Protection Agency, the Workplace Relations Commission, An Bord Pleanala, Kildare County Council and Wicklow County Council.
He currently advises the National Transport Authority in the small public service vehicle, public bus passenger service and vehicle clamping sectors and oversees their nationwide prosecution function and any Court appeals against licensing decisions.
Jason also has vast experience in criminal defence work, employment law and general litigation.

Daniel Walsh, Senior Associate

Daniel is a Senior Associate in the firm having joined our team in March 2022, specialising in all areas of Litigation. Daniel was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in January 2016, but has a vast array of experience prior to that having worked in the legal sector since 2007, having worked and trained with a leading Insurance Defence Litigation Firm in Dublin. Daniel worked in Defence Litigation for a number of years specialising in Fraud Prevention and Protocols and advising Multinational Insurers. Following this Daniel began focusing on other areas of the law and moved to General Practice specialising in Litigation, Family Law and Employment Law, together with issues surrounding Estates and District Court Advocacy.
Daniel would be well known around the Courts being regularly in attendance and having represented clients at all levels from the District Court through to the Supreme Court. Daniel has worked on many high profile cases throughout the years and has been involved in many published Judgments.
Daniel takes a very practical and pragmatic approach to what can seem like very complicated legal issues and provide client focused advice and will help guide and assist clients in a way that achieves the best and most cost effective outcome possible.
Daniel provides service to our clients covering all aspects of law, and in particular family law, civil litigation and employment law.

Angela Luxford

Angela practices in our Litigation Department specialising in personal injuries in conjunction with Feargal White, Litigation Partner. She joined Coughlan White & Partners in June 1999. She has over 28 years experience in all aspects of litigation and has particular expertise in personal injury litigation both Defence and Plaintiff work ranging from minor to catastrophic injuries. She obtained her Diploma in Legal Studies from Griffith College, Dublin.
Esther Marin
Esther works in the areas of Conveyancing and Debt Recovery. Esther has extensive experience in Conveyancing having acted on behalf of both private individuals and Companies in the purchase and sale of property, including commercial property. Esther has also gained experience in Debt Recovery and has acted for a wide range of clients including management companies, private companies, landlords and private individuals. Esther recognizes the importance of advising of the cost/benefit in respect of the debt and its viability as well as the legal merits of a claim.
Linda Leahy
Linda joined Coughlan White & Partners in 2013 and is a Legal Executive in our Conveyancing Department working primarily in the area of residential property transactions. Linda has considerable experience in the sale, purchase and remortgage of new and second hand properties.
Tara Pedreschi

Tara joined the firm in 2007 and is a Legal Executive within our Conveyancing Department. Tara has over 22 years experience working in the legal profession and holds Diploma in Legal Studies from Griffith College Dublin. Tara has considerable experience in private residential property transactions and mortgages.
Imani Tutu, LLB, LLM
Imani joined our firm in October 2021. He works primarily in our Litigation Department and handles matters related to Debt Recovery and Settlement, Commercial Contracts, Landlord and Tenant and Immigration. An alumnus of the University of Limerick, Imani holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Master of Laws (LLM) in International Commercial Law.
Grace Phillips, Legal Executive

Grace commenced with Coughlan White & Partners in 2014, where she started her career in the legal profession moving on after three years to work in various practices in Dublin and Kilkenny. Grace also did some freelance work to include work for Barristers. Grace’s experience extends to Litigation, Family Law, Employment Law, Probate, Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney. In 2021 Grace completed the Diploma in Legal Studies and Practice with Griffith College. She returned to the firm in July 2023 and has been working as a Legal Executive specialising in the areas of Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Litigation.
